We stayed on the Club floor and checked in there. The staff in the club were very helpful as we planned our days. In particular, Club Supervisor Yuka Wakii spent a lot of time and effort researching places we would like to visit including some that were not the usual tourist destinations--like a street where locals shopped for clothes and groceries etc. The hotel has excellent restaurants although the one that serves complimentary breakfasts gets busy so allow a little time to get in at the peak morning hour. The room amenities are top drawer--very nice fabrics and tea sets etc. The bathroom and bathing area are spacious. The spa and gym area is very good with saunas and hot and cold pools on both (men and women) sides and a communal area and pool for laps. The people in the Club Lounge were exceptionally nice and helpful. Our trip was much nicer because of them.

Tips: The hotel is in a quiet area, good for serene walking but several blocks from any interesting shops or restaurants. The area is mostly office buildings and some embassy sites but it is close to a train/subway station so it doesn't take long to get to most places in Tokyo.
