Great service, clean room, centrally located, and yet not as busy as the area around Times Square.

This is for sure my very favorite hotel in NYC. Besides being in the charming Bryant Park, its location is strategic in its mid-town place. Rooms were totally renovated (I was a guest 2 years ago and can testify). It's view of the park is breathtaking and the decoraction and facilities are not only high-level. They are tasty and classy (for those who understand what it means, og course). The staff is not only correct. It is really interested in their guest's well being. Jo(sephine) is the perfect front desk person and could be working at the Ritz ou Le Meurice in Paris. Ammenities and small gifts (Neuhaus's chocolates and Angelina's macarons) are top, especially for a 4-star hotel.

Tips: The building is on renovation, what was not a problem for me because I stayed out most of the day (working). The shower does not have a good pressure, but it was compensated by the duche and the (separate) nice tube. And, yes, it is a little overpriced for a 4-star hotel.
