This was my third stay at the hotel, and every time I have left very satisfied. It’s a wonderful hotel! Very clean, with an excellent breakfast. The staff go out of their way to make sure you are happy and are extremely welcoming, friendly, and helpful. The location is also excellent. I will definitely stay here again.

Summer
Summer (June–August)
Winter (November–March, excluding Christmas/New Year and half-term weeks)
March–May: Temperatures typically range from about 8°C to 15°C. Days get longer and parks/gardens are in bloom (especially Kew Gardens and Regent's Park). Great weather for walking neighborhoods and outdoor attractions with fewer crowds than summer.
The world-famous tennis championships held at the All England Club draw large crowds and drive up accommodation prices in June and early July.
A huge Caribbean street festival and parade in West London, typically held over a bank holiday weekend in August.
Prestigious horticultural show in May showcasing garden design and rare plants.
One of the world’s top marathons held in April with road closures around many central sights.
Official celebratory parade for the monarch’s birthday in June, featuring massed bands and the Household Division.
June/July parade and festival celebrating LGBTQ+ communities with events across the city and a large march through central London.
Large seasonal markets, festive lights and an amusement park in Hyde Park (late Nov–Dec), plus markets across Southbank and Covent Garden.
Official fireworks display along the South Bank (ticketed) and many private parties and public gatherings on December 31st.
London weather is famously changeable. Bring layers, a compact umbrella and a waterproof jacket year-round. Comfortable, water-resistant walking shoes are essential. Check forecasts before planning outdoor activities; even Summer can have cool, damp evenings. For Winter, include a warm hat, scarf and gloves; for Spring and Fall, a mid-weight jacket and waterproof layer will cover most conditions.
London hotel and short-term rental prices spike during Summer (June–August), major events (Wimbledon, Notting Hill Carnival, Chelsea Flower Show, major concerts) and holidays (late December for Christmas/New Year). Peak tourist areas (Westminster, Covent Garden, South Bank, Kensington) are significantly more expensive than neighborhoods further out (Stratford, Acton, Shepherd's Bush, Ealing). Business travel drives midweek demand, keeping Monday–Thursday rates higher in central hotels. Value windows: late Fall (November, excluding holiday weeks) and Winter (January–March) offer the lowest nightly rates and best deals, though Christmas/New Year and half-term weeks are exceptions. Booking 6–12 weeks in advance for summer or major events is recommended; for last-minute deals in low season look for flexible booking or weekday stays. Consider apartment rentals or hotels near a Tube station to balance cost and convenience. Use contactless/Oyster passes to save on transit compared to taxis.
Consejos de expertos para ayudarte a aprovechar al máximo tu visita
London has extensive public transport: the Tube, buses, Overground, trams (in south London/Croydon), and commuter rail lines. Contactless payment and Oyster cards are the easiest way to pay; daily caps make travel cost-effective. Avoid driving central London due to congestion charging and limited parking.
Buy an Oyster or use contactless for all public transport and pre-book popular attractions (Tower of London, West End shows, Shard viewing) to save time. Explore free museums (British Museum, National Gallery, Tate Modern) on rainy days, and base yourself near a well-connected Tube station to maximize sightseeing time.
