The room is clean and comfortable. There are all the necessary amenities. Nice breakfast. According to my wife, the pool with salt water was not enough warm. It was Ok to me.
The location is perfect, a two minute walk to the beach. The hotel is spotlessly clean, and our room was beautiful. Comfortable bed, gorgeous balcony and view, lovely big shower, delicious food. Beautiful pools, both outdoor and indoor, with lots of chairs and loungers, and plenty of shade. Outstanding service, especially from Victoria. She gave us an upgrade on our room and a bottle of wine for our wedding anniversary, and a late checkout, which was great.

Fall
Spring and Fall
Summer (discounts due to heat) and parts of Winter
March–May: Mild-to-warm days, cool nights, wildflowers and pleasant conditions for floating, hikes (Masada, Ein Gedi) and outdoor sightseeing.
National holidays shift huge numbers of domestic travelers to resort areas including the Dead Sea. Dates follow the Hebrew calendar and change yearly.
Many Dead Sea hotels and specialized centers schedule themed spa weeks and wellness retreats throughout spring and fall; dates vary by year and operator.
From time to time the greater Dead Sea and Arava regions host organized trail runs, ultramarathons and triathlons. Schedules vary—check local listings and official event pages.
The Dead Sea region is extremely dry with intense sun. Always carry high-SPF sunscreen, a wide-brim hat, sunglasses, and lightweight breathable clothing. Drink ample water—avoid drinking the sea water. Protect electronics from salt spray and mineral mud; rinse with fresh water after mud treatments. Plan outdoor activities for early morning or late afternoon in hot months.
Hotel and resort prices at the Dead Sea fluctuate with Israeli holiday periods, weekends, and the region's best-weather months. Peak rates occur in spring and fall when temperatures are comfortable and international tourism is highest; rates also spike during major Israeli holidays (Passover, Sukkot) and long local weekends. Summer (extreme heat) can offer good value discounts at many full-board resorts, though day-trip prices for attractions may be lower. Winter can be mixed—cooler weather lowers demand but some wellness/spa packages remain popular, keeping mid-range prices stable. Book early for holiday weeks and consider package deals (spa + meals) to lock in value.
Insider advice to help you make the most of your visit
Most visitors arrive by rental car, private transfer, or coach from major hubs (Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Eilat). Local buses serve some Dead Sea towns but schedules are limited—especially on Shabbat (Friday sundown to Saturday night).
Book a hotel with private beach access and early-morning salt-bath or mud-treatment appointments. For photography and calmer waters, aim for sunrise float sessions; for the most comfortable hiking and sightseeing, plan your stay in Spring or Fall and avoid national holiday weeks unless you prefer lively atmosphere.
