First of all, they use Dyson as a hair dryer and I loved that. The room was spotlessly clean, smelled great, the bathroom was amazing and spacious. Everything was perfect. If I stay in Tokyo again, I would stay there again.
New, clean, convenient and very central, very nice staff.

Fall
Spring (cherry blossom) and late-year holidays (New Year / illumination season) are high season. Golden Week and major festivals also raise demand.
Late Winter (January–February, excluding New Year) and some parts of Summer outside Obon and major festival dates tend to offer better prices and lower crowds.
March–May. Cherry blossoms bloom (typically late March–early April in central Tokyo) and temperatures are mild. Many outdoor events and temple/shrine visits are ideal this time.
A short but iconic season when cherry trees bloom across parks and riverbanks, typically peaking late March–early April in central Tokyo.
A cluster of national holidays at the end of April and beginning of May. Many Japanese take extended vacations during this period.
Major fireworks festivals in July and August draw large crowds to riverside areas and parks for spectacular night shows.
A major international marathon held in February (usually) attracting elite runners and recreational participants.
Japan's most important holiday with many businesses closing around Dec 31–Jan 3 and large numbers of people visiting shrines for hanami (hatsumode).
Grand sumo tournaments (honbasho) take place in Tokyo in January, May, and September at Ryogoku Kokugikan.
Tokyo has four distinct seasons. Expect a rainy season (tsuyu) in early summer (June–early July) with frequent showers, a hot and humid summer (July–August), and potential typhoons in late summer to early fall. Winters are cold but mostly dry with occasional snow. Pack layers year-round (mornings/evenings can be cool outside summer), a compact umbrella during rainy season, and breathable clothing in summer. Check forecasts around typhoon windows and have flexible plans.
Tokyo hotel prices fluctuate strongly with seasons and major events. Prices typically peak during Cherry Blossom season (late March–early April), Golden Week (end of April–early May), the autumn foliage period (late October–November in popular viewing spots), and year-end/New Year holidays (late December–early January). Large international events, conferences, and major sporting events (e.g., Olympics, Rugby World Cup) can also drive short-term spikes citywide. Conversely, late winter (January–February, excluding New Year) and certain summer weekdays outside Obon (mid-August) and large festivals often offer better hotel deals. Weekend rates are higher in entertainment and nightlife districts (Shinjuku, Shibuya, Roppongi), while business districts (Marunouchi, Otemachi) may be cheaper on weekends. Advance booking is crucial during peak windows; flexible dates and neighborhood choices away from central tourist hubs yield the best value.
Советы инсайдеров, которые помогут вам максимально использовать ваш визит
Tokyo's public transportation is world-class—timely trains, extensive subway networks, buses, and convenient IC cards (Suica/Pasmo).
Use a Suica/Pasmo card and base yourself near a Yamanote Line station for convenience. For a smoother experience during peak seasons, book accommodation and any must-do restaurant reservations at least 2–3 months ahead (longer for cherry blossom dates and Golden Week). Consider weekday visits to popular sites and early morning starts to avoid crowds.
