I really like this motel, everything was perfect, the manager is very nice, he made me feel very at ease like I'm talking to a great friend. The facility us spotless, OH my, I've never seen a cleaner motel especially the room. Not only was the room exceptionally clean, it was quiet. I had an event i needed to get up early for, the bed was so comfortable I didn't want to get up. I just want to than the manager and staff for an amazing job keeping this motel a favorite of mine and will be back when in the area. THANK YOU!

Spring
Winter (Dec–Feb) and Spring (Mar–May, especially Spring Break and holiday weekends)
Late Summer and Fall (Aug–Nov excluding major holiday weekends)
March–May. Mild, pleasant temperatures (typically mid-60s to mid-80s°F). Wildflowers and lake activities pick up; many outdoor local events and winery concerts happen in late spring.
Lakeridge Winery & Vineyards (a short drive from Clermont) hosts harvest activities, concerts, wine tastings and seasonal festivals, most active from late summer through fall harvest.
Clermont’s downtown and waterfront parks run periodic events: summer concert series, holiday parades, art walks and food truck gatherings. These are community-centered and often free or low-cost.
Because Clermont is in Lake County near Orlando, many regional events are within easy driving distance — county fairs, craft festivals in Mount Dora, and theme-park special events.
Clermont experiences a humid subtropical climate: prepare for hot, humid summers with daily afternoon storms and mild, drier winters. Always carry sunscreen, insect repellent and a lightweight rain jacket in summer. Monitor hurricane forecasts during late summer and fall. Hydrate and plan outdoor activities for mornings or evenings during the hottest months.
Clermont is a smaller city northwest of Orlando, so local lodging and dining prices are influenced heavily by the Orlando tourism cycle, nearby theme-park demand, and local events (wineries, festivals, lake recreation). Hotels and vacation rentals spike during Winter holidays and Spring Break when visitors use Clermont as a quieter base near Orlando. Midweek stays are usually cheaper than weekends. Local events (winery concerts, harvest festivals) and holiday weekends drive short-term price increases. Conversely, late summer and parts of fall (outside holiday weekends) often offer better deals, though beware of variable weather (thunderstorms / hurricane season) and fewer services during slower periods.
Insider advice to help you make the most of your visit
Clermont is best explored by car. Public transit options are limited; the area connects by regional roads to Orlando and other Lake County towns.
Rent a car and plan morning lake activities (kayaking, paddleboarding) to avoid afternoon storms and heat. Combine a winery visit (Lakeridge) with a scenic drive through Clermont’s rolling hills for great photos and local flavor. Book accommodations at least 30–60 days ahead for winter and spring weekends.
