Everything! Small but adequate mod bedroom. Fab shower. Amazing friendly competent staff, comfy bed despite being 2 singles. Fantastic pool [10h30 to 18h30]. Mind blowing breakfast (8 to 11am). Felt like I was in Germany as I only heard German and Spanish. The Brits go to Magaluf (aka Shagaloof). Close to beach, bus stop, and the strip. Wonderful art in the hotel. Lovely affordable bar. The attentive life guard was bored as only I swam...the rest drank and ate. 😆 Lovely cardio machines in the basement gym.
We had to reschedule our visit due to a flight delay. Very understanding staff, they have been really helpful. Will definitely come back to this place!

Seasonal guide to help you plan the perfect trip to in Playa de Palma
Summer
Summer (June–August)
Winter (December–February), excluding the Christmas/New Year period
March–May: Temperatures typically range from cool to warm (mid-teens to low-20s°C). Wildflowers and almond blossoms (early spring) brighten the island and terraces begin to open. Good time for hiking in the Tramuntana, cycling, and exploring Palma's old town without summer crowds.
Mid-January celebrations honoring Palma’s patron saint with concerts, parades, and local gatherings in the Old Town and Plaza Mayor.
A popular road race held in spring (typically March) that attracts international runners. The event route often includes Palma or finishes in the capital, bringing energetic crowds and related weekend activities.
Late June island-wide celebrations for Midsummer with bonfires, beach parties, and traditional music—great for experiencing local summer culture.
An arts-focused night (usually in October) when galleries and cultural spaces in Palma open late for exhibitions, installations, and performances attracting art lovers.
Palma has a Mediterranean climate—hot, dry summers and mild, wetter winters. Bring sunscreen, a hat, and light breathable clothing in summer; layers and a waterproof jacket for spring and fall; a warm layer for cool winter evenings. If hiking in the Serra de Tramuntana, bring sturdy shoes and check weather forecasts for wind or rain.
Palma's prices are highly seasonal. Hotels, restaurants, and tours peak in July–August when demand from European summer tourists is highest; expect room rates 2–3x higher than winter. Shoulder seasons (Spring and Fall) offer better value while still providing pleasant weather. Winter sees the lowest hotel rates but reduced services and some attractions with limited hours. Major events (e.g., local festivals, the Mallorca Marathon, Easter week) and public holidays push short-term price spikes and make early booking essential. Airfare follows similar patterns: cheapest in winter and late fall, most expensive in high summer and around Easter and Christmas/New Year. Car rental prices spike in high season and around events; booking in advance and picking up outside peak holiday weekends reduces costs.
Insider advice to help you make the most of your visit
Palma has a compact historic center well served by buses, taxis, and bike lanes; the airport is close to the city. Renting a car is useful for exploring the island beyond Palma.
If your schedule allows, split your stay between Palma and a smaller coastal village (e.g., Deià or Port de Sóller) to experience both the island’s cultural heart and quieter natural landscapes. Book accommodations and car rentals well ahead if traveling in July–August or around major festivals.
