Lovely staff
Absolutely everything!! Nothing disappointed us. The staff were absolutely a credit to the hotel. The reception staff Nouhala and Amine were pleasent every time we had a question. And don't get me started in the restaurant staff. I have a gluten allergy and they were unbelievable actually better than the UK to be honest. All of them were great. Chakir was amazing! Thank you

Summer
Summer (especially July–August) is high season—ideal for beach holidays and family travel but more crowded and expensive.
Winter (December–February) is the value season for lower hotel rates and quieter streets, though the weather is cooler and wetter.
March–May: mild, sunny days with warming temperatures (around 18–24°C / 64–75°F). Breezes are common but generally pleasant—excellent for sightseeing, walking the corniche, and early-season beach time.
An annual world and Amazigh (Berber) music festival held in Agadir, typically in July. It features national and international artists and highlights Amazigh culture.
Various running events, including a city marathon or half-marathon events typically scheduled in spring (often April). They attract local and international runners and promote active tourism.
Religious holidays celebrated nationwide on dates that vary each year according to the lunar calendar. Local life changes during these holidays—markets, shops, and transport schedules can be affected.
Pack layers—morning and evening temperatures can be noticeably cooler than midday. Bring wind-resistant outerwear for windy days, high-SPF sunscreen for sunny afternoons, a hat, and sunglasses. If visiting in winter, include a light rain jacket and warmer evening clothes. For surfers, bring or rent a wetsuit in winter months when the water is colder.
Agadir's hotel prices vary by season and proximity to the beachfront. Peak summer months (especially July and August) and major local events push rates to their highest. High-end beachfront resorts and international chains raise prices significantly in high season. Shoulder seasons (Spring and Fall) often offer the best balance of pleasant weather and lower rates; many 3–4 star hotels discount rooms to attract off-peak tourists. Winter (December–February) is generally the value season except around New Year and some holiday dates when rates can rise slightly. Weekends and local holiday periods (Eid al-Fitr, Eid al-Adha, and Moroccan national holidays) can also affect pricing. Booking 6–12 weeks ahead for peak months and 2–6 weeks for shoulder seasons is recommended; last-minute deals are more common in winter low season. Apartment rentals and riads in nearby towns (e.g., Taghazout, Tamraght) can be more economical than Agadir beachfront resorts outside high season.
Советы инсайдеров, которые помогут вам максимально использовать ваш визит
Getting around Agadir is straightforward: petit taxis for intra-city trips, grand taxis for longer distances, rental cars for exploring the region, and shared buses/coaches for budget travel.
For the best combination of weather and value, plan a spring or fall stay and use Agadir as a base for day trips to Paradise Valley, Taghazout (surfing), and Souss-Massa National Park for birdwatching. If visiting in summer, reserve beachfront accommodation early and request rooms away from loud nightlife if you prefer quiet.
