Analyze the best time to book Old Egypt Hotel in in Cairo based on 12-month price forecast
I have never seen in my life a view like the one I saw in the hotel. It has an ancient Egyptian style. For me, the rooms were clean and spacious, the bed was very comfortable, the bathroom was clean, and they have a view that I have never seen in my life anywhere else. It is really the best. You can enjoy breakfast on the terrace with a view that you will not see in any other hotel. For me, the staff were very cooperative regarding the late check-out time, and they arranged for us a wonderful trip to the pyramids at an excellent price and great service.
Wonderful experience and nice hotel. The most important thing for me was cleanliness. This was excellent there in every way. The room was clean, complete, sterilized, and smelled wonderful, with a spacious and clean bathroom. The price was appropriate, not exaggerated like other places. The staff were flexible and kind, and the breakfast was suitable for us, vegetarians. As a whole, it was a wonderful experience.

Expect hot, dry conditions most of the year; carry sunscreen, sunglasses, a wide-brim hat, and a refillable water bottle. Spring can bring short sandstorms (khamsin) that reduce visibility—pack a lightweight scarf or face cover. Winters are mild but nights can be cool; bring a light jacket. Always check daily forecasts close to travel dates and plan outdoor activities for early morning or late afternoon to avoid peak heat.
Hotel and tour prices in الهرم (Al-Haram, Giza) fluctuate with international tourist seasons and local events. Peak demand occurs during the cooler months and around international holidays and festivals, pushing mid-range and luxury hotel rates up by 20–60% compared with low season. Budget guesthouses and hostels hold steadier rates year-round but may fill quickly during school vacations. Summer (June–August) is usually the most budget-friendly time for lodging due to extreme heat, though some attractions remain busy during national holidays. Prices for guided pyramid tours, camel/horse rides, and private transfers spike during weekends, religious holidays, and major conferences in greater Cairo. Advance booking of hotels and guided excursions is recommended for high season and major events to secure fixed prices and availability.
Insider advice to help you make the most of your visit
Getting around الهرم and Giza is easiest by taxi (use ride-hailing apps), private transfer, Cairo metro to nearby stops, or guided tours for the pyramids. Road traffic can be heavy—allow extra time.
Plan pyramid visits for sunrise or late afternoon to avoid crowds and heat; combine a morning at the Giza Plateau with a visit to the Grand Egyptian Museum. Carry small-denomination bills and coins for tips, and keep a printed copy of important addresses in Arabic for taxi drivers.
