Our stay at Seven Stays was great. It was clean including the room, washroom (loo), the grounds, and the pool. We've stayed at several places in Cairo and the location compared to the pictures isn't always what meets the eye. At Seven Stays the experince was consistent was what was advertised. We stayed for 6 nights and saw the pool grounds, lobby, rooms, etc cleaned regularly. I was able to work online from the room as well as beside the pool. What was especially unique at Seven Stays was the staff went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. They seem genuinely satisfied and happy and as we know, satisfy employees, create beautiful experiences. I really found the staff generous, respectful, and kind. We would stay there again. If you're reading this from North America please note that the huge rooms that we're used to at home aren't, the norm everywhere else. I think this place provides a great market value which exceeds expectations for well below other places in the area as Shiek Zayed is a fancy part of Cario. It's on a small compound which is great as older kids can walk around safely withiut supervision. Please note if you want to stay at a nice place but spend economically nearby, there's Hyper One multi purpose store with lots of great deals. Then with when you like more of an experience you can walk to the American Plaza or a short taxi (60 - 70 pounds) to Mall of Arabia.
Everything was exactly as shown in the photos. The breakfast was quite enough and delicious.(Thanks to Ayaa💜💜) The room was clean, and I didn’t experience any issues with hot water in the bathroom. The garden is very pleasant for spending time. There hotel is close to Arkan Plaza which is a very good mall. There is a very cute cat on the garden. I would like to thank Abdelrahman, who handled our check-in and check-out and helped me find a taxi to the airport. He was extremely helpful in every way honestly bro is literally just like a swiss knife. He is very caring and funniest staff member ever, with his amazing reception service and such a sweet personality. Said and Mohammed also always checked if I needed anything and were very good at their jobs. Shahad was as sweet as honey and one of the kindest people ever istg. All of the hotel staff were very friendly and attentive.

Seasonal guide to help you plan the perfect trip to in Sheikh Zayed
Fall
October–February
June–August
March–May: warming temperatures, generally comfortable in March and April; khamsin (hot desert windstorms) can occur, especially in March and April.
Ancient spring festival celebrated across Egypt marking the start of spring.
The Islamic holy month observed by Muslims across Egypt; dates shift earlier by ~10–11 days each year on the Gregorian calendar.
Major regional film festival held in greater Cairo, usually in November.
Nightly multimedia show at the Giza Pyramids recounting ancient Egyptian history (seasonal scheduling and language options vary).
Coptic Orthodox Christian holidays (notably January 7 Christmas) have local church services and cultural observances.
Expect desert climate patterns: very low humidity, strong sun, and big diurnal swings in some seasons. Watch for khamsin dust storms in spring; bring sun protection, fast-drying layered clothing, and a light jacket for winter nights. Stay hydrated, avoid peak heat hours in summer, and check local weather forecasts for sandstorm warnings before desert excursions.
Giza (part of Greater Cairo) follows the general Cairo pricing pattern: highest hotel and tour prices fall in the cooler high season when international tourism peaks (roughly October–April), with the busiest months often December–February. Prices dip in the hot summer months (June–August) when fewer international tourists visit, although domestic travel around national holidays and religious festivals (Eid al-Fitr, Eid al-Adha) can cause short local price spikes. Major events like Ramadan change demand patterns — many restaurants reduce hours but hotels may offer special packages for observant or visiting guests. Bookings for private guided tours, balloon rides over nearby areas, and premium hotels surge during peak months and around major western holidays (New Year). Public transport and budget hotels are cheapest year-round but can fill up during school holidays. Overall, expect 20–40% price variation between peak and low season for mid-range hotels, and larger swings for luxury properties and private tour services.
Insider advice to help you make the most of your visit
Giza is directly adjacent to Cairo—accessible from Cairo International Airport by taxi/ride-hail, shuttle, or private transfer. Local transport includes the Cairo Metro (to Giza stations), public buses, tuk-tuks in some neighborhoods, and taxis/ride-hailing (Uber/Careem). For pyramids visits, consider a private transfer or hotel-arranged transport.
Arrive at the Giza plateau at sunrise for cooler temperatures, softer light for photography, and fewer crowds; hire a licensed Egyptologist guide for a deeper, historically accurate tour and to navigate ticketing and restricted areas efficiently. Carry small change in Egyptian pounds for tips, quick purchases, and local vendors.
