The Hotel is amazing it was a bit far from downtown but it was worth it. I’ll come back just to hang out and be in that location because it was peaceful and had great views. Parking was a plus! Staff was nice and rooms are perfect.
The room was clean and spacious. The gym and pool were also nice and the lobby was pleasant. All of the people who worked there were also kind and helpful. The smart tv was also a nice little luxury.

Skokie has a continental climate: cold, snowy winters and warm, humid summers with an active spring and pleasant fall. Pack layers year-round. In winter bring waterproof boots, insulated coat, hat and gloves. In summer bring sun protection, light breathable clothing, and prepare for sudden thunderstorms. Check daily forecasts before outdoor plans and allow extra travel time when snow or heavy rain is expected.
Skokie is a Chicago suburb with lower average hotel rates than downtown Chicago but still influenced by major city events. Prices rise when Chicago hosts large conventions, festivals (Lollapalooza, Taste of Chicago, Air and Water Show), and during peak summer tourism. Weekends can be pricier than weekdays due to local events and short-stay visitors. Corporate demand and university events in nearby Evanston can also push rates up. Holiday weeks (late November through early January) often see a mid-level price bump, but mid-winter (excluding holidays) and some shoulder seasons can offer the best value. Booking 2–6 weeks ahead for summer and special-event weekends is recommended; for major Chicago events, book 2–3 months in advance.
