The location of the property is good. Although the pyramid view is very limited from the rooms but you can enjoy it from the terrace. The breakfast is satisfactory - veg options are availalbe. The staff is courteous and helpful. The rooms are clean and the bathrooms are modern. Overall its a good option for families. PS - We were allowed BYOB on the terrace without any extra charge. So it was a nice touch.
We had an amazing stay at Almas Pyramids Hotel in Cairo. The staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful. Everyone truly went out of their way to make our stay special. They arranged a fantastic tour for us to the Pyramids of Giza and the Great Sphinx of Giza, which was perfectly organized and unforgettable. The view from the hotel is absolutely stunning, and the location is ideal. Very close to the pyramids and also near the newly opened Grand Egyptian Museum. Breakfast was well taken care of, with a good variety, and later in the day you can also enjoy some nice food on the rooftop terrace, which makes the experience even better. Overall, it was a great experience from start to finish. Highly recommended!

Summer
Hajj (Dhu al-Hijjah) and Ramadan
Months outside major religious events — typically late Spring and parts of Summer when international travel dips, though heat is a factor
March–May: Temperatures warm, with pleasant mornings and hot afternoons toward May; humidity is generally low until late spring.
Annual major pilgrimage with fixed rituals in and around Mecca occurring in the Islamic month of Dhu al-Hijjah (dates move earlier ~10–11 days each Gregorian year). Hajj draws millions of pilgrims and causes the largest surge in visitors and prices.
Ramadan (lunar month) is a spiritual peak when many perform Umrah; it culminates with Eid al-Fitr. Eid al-Adha follows Hajj season. Both Eids attract domestic and international visitors.
Umrah can be performed year-round but peaks during Ramadan and some other preferred dates (e.g., school holidays).
Saudi National Day (September 23) and regional holidays can increase domestic travel and local demand in some years.
Carry lightweight, breathable clothing, a wide-brim hat, and sunscreen year-round. In summer, prioritize indoor/rest periods and carry a refillable water bottle. Winters can be cool at night — pack a light jacket. Confirm hotel AC and room comfort in hot months. Plan prayers and mosque visits during cooler morning and late-evening hours when possible.
Hotel and accommodation prices in Mecca (Al-Masjid al-Haram area) fluctuate primarily with the Islamic pilgrimage calendar and Saudi public holidays. The most significant price spikes occur during Hajj (Dhu al-Hijjah) when availability is extremely limited and rates can be many times higher than average. Ramadan and the 10 days leading up to Eid al-Adha also see elevated demand and higher prices because many pilgrims perform Umrah during Ramadan. Outside these peak religious periods, prices vary with global travel seasons: international school vacations (summer months in many countries) and Saudi national holidays raise rates. Last-minute bookings near event dates are costly; advance bookings (3–6 months for Hajj, 1–3 months for Ramadan and other busy windows) secure better rates. Budget travelers can find lower rates in the off-peak windows between major events, but note that some lower-tier hotels may be basic and rely heavily on shared facilities.
内行人建议,帮助您充分利用您的访问
Getting to and around Mecca centers on air to Jeddah or Medina (then by road), plus buses, taxis, ride-hailing, and the Haramain high-speed rail from Jeddah/Medina to the holy city.
Book accommodation as early as possible around known busy windows (Hajj, Ramadan, national holidays). For maximum comfort during hot months, prioritize hotels with strong AC, higher star ratings, and rooms with good soundproofing — a slightly higher price often pays off in rest and ease of movement during intense pilgrimage schedules.
