I really liked the location, the facilities, and the unique history and story of the property. Everything was very clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. The atmosphere was very pleasant, the staff and service were excellent, and the breakfast was also great. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and I would be happy to stay here again.

Castello Dal Pozzo is well placed for exploring the southern and central shores of Lake Maggiore, charming lakeside towns (Arona, Stresa), historic castles and palaces (Rocca di Angera, Borromean Islands), beautiful botanical gardens (Villa Taranto), mountain viewpoints (Mottarone) and the peaceful island town of Orta San Giulio. The hotel is also conveniently close to Milan–Malpensa Airport for easy access.
Arona is a lively lakeside town with a pretty promenade, shops and cafés. The massive 35-metre Sancarlone statue overlooks the town and can be visited from the inside for panoramic views.
Stresa is a stylish resort town and the gateway to the Borromean Islands. Boat trips depart to Isola Bella (baroque palace and gardens) and Isola Madre (botanical gardens).
World-famous botanical gardens with thousands of plant species, seasonal displays and lakeside walks — excellent for nature lovers and photographers.
