I liked everything — it was clean and comfortable. The room was amazing; it was large, spacious, and had a small balcony with a beautiful view of the city. Everything was perfect, and the staff were very kind and welcoming.
I stayed at Amman Paradise Hotel for around 12 days, and I had a very enjoyable experience. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and the facilities were very good. The food was also excellent throughout my stay. What really made the difference was the staff. The reception team was brilliant — very friendly, welcoming, and informative. They helped me a lot with recommendations for tourist attractions, restaurants, and places to visit in Jordan. Special thanks to Mohammad Abu Najem, Ahmad Abu Alenain, and Sarah for their outstanding hospitality and support. I would also like to thank Sa’amer from the restaurant for being such a great host, and the security staff member Tareq and abo Gazaleh who greeted me warmly every day with kindness and respect. The staff overall were extremely helpful and professional. Since I stayed for a longer period, I also had the chance to meet the hotel manager, and I truly appreciated how she made sure I had an enjoyable and comfortable stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Amman.

Seasonal guide to help you plan the perfect trip to in Amman
Fall
Spring and Fall (pleasant weather, outdoor events and festivals).
Winter and mid-summer (lower hotel rates and fewer tourists except around holidays).
March–May: Mild daytime temperatures (15–25°C), blooming landscapes, comfortable for sightseeing and nearby hikes (e.g., Ajloun, Dead Sea shore). This is one of the most pleasant times to visit Amman.
A major summer festival held in the nearby Roman city of Jerash, featuring music, dance, and theatrical performances.
A mix of local and regional theatre productions, workshops, and cultural showcases — often in spring or early summer.
Typically held in the cooler months (often November), the marathon and related runs attract local and international runners.
The Islamic holy month of Ramadan (dates vary by lunar calendar) affects opening hours, dining, and social life; Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha are major holidays with family gatherings and travel spikes.
May 25 — national celebrations, official ceremonies, and public events across Amman and the country.
Amman sits at a high elevation (roughly 700–1,100 m), so temperatures are cooler than the Jordan Valley. Pack layers year-round: light layers for warm days and a warm jacket for evenings (especially in Winter). Sunscreen and a hat are essential in Spring and Summer. Carry a compact umbrella or light rain jacket for brief showers in Spring and Winter. Hydration is important in Summer; tap water is generally chlorinated—many visitors prefer bottled water.
Amman hotel and accommodation prices fluctuate by season, major events, and religious holidays. Peak demand and highest rates occur when the weather is mild (spring and fall), during major festivals (Jerash Festival of Culture & Arts, Jordan Festival), and around school holidays and international events. Summer can be mixed: daytime heat lowers leisure demand in some months, producing mid-season discounts in July–August, but hotel rates can rise if there are conferences or domestic travel peaks. Winter rates (December–February) are often lower except around Christmas/New Year and during local holiday weekends. Booking 60–90 days ahead is advised for peak season; last-minute deals are more likely in the hot-summer months or quiet winter weekdays. Room rates near major attractions (downtown, Rainbow Street, Abdali) and luxury properties show the biggest swings; budget guesthouses and hostels tend to be steadier year-round. Weekends (Friday–Saturday) can be busier locally, especially with domestic travelers, affecting short-stay prices.
Insider advice to help you make the most of your visit
Options include services taxis (white with orange plate), private taxis, ride-hailing (Careem, Uber), limited public buses, airport shuttle (Jett) and car rentals. Driving is common for day trips outside Amman.
Purchase a Jordan Pass before arrival if you plan to visit multiple paid attractions (it includes visa waiver on certain conditions and discounts/entrance to Petra and many sites). For Petra, plan an overnight stay in Wadi Musa to see the site at dawn and dusk and avoid the busiest midday hours.
