Our first time to New York and The Moore was perfect! From the friendly staff to the fresh croissants and lattes. Clean and cozy, it couldn’t have been better!! We will be back!
The hotel staff were really welcoming and accommodating. The room itself was small, but this wasn't too much of a surprise since this is a recurring theme across most reviews I saw prior to booking the hotel, but we still decided to stay here and I'm glad we did. The staff were very gracious about me ordering lots of packages to our hotel room and whenever the room got cleaned, the cleaning staff left cute baked goods and fresh eye masks on our bed each day. Also we had to leave a day early because of the snow storm and without being prompted, the hotel refunded us for a day, which was a very nice surprise. Will definitely be staying here again next time I'm in New York. Thanks very much!

Fall
Summer (June–August) and late-November through December (holiday period)
January–February (post-holiday winter) and some of March
March–May: Temperatures generally range from chilly in early March to comfortably warm by May. Parks and waterfronts start blooming, and outdoor dining and rooftop bars reopen.
The iconic ball drop draws huge crowds to Midtown Manhattan each December 31st and is televised worldwide.
A massive parade through Midtown Manhattan on Thanksgiving morning featuring floats, balloons, and performances.
An influential film festival typically held in spring (often April), featuring film premieres, panels, and neighborhood programming.
NYC Pride (June) includes a weekend of events culminating in the Pride March, celebrating LGBTQ+ communities.
Biannual fashion events (February and September) that attract industry insiders and media, with shows and related events across Manhattan.
One of the world’s largest marathons held in November, drawing runners and spectators from around the globe.
Late-November through December: festive markets (Bryant Park, Union Square), elaborate department store window displays, and seasonal installations.
New York’s weather can be variable—winters are cold with snow possible, summers are hot and humid, and spring/fall are transitional. Bring layered clothing year-round, an umbrella, comfortable walking shoes, and a windproof jacket for waterfront or evening strolls. Check forecast 48–72 hours before travel for storm or heat advisories and plan indoor backup activities (museums, Broadway, restaurants) for inclement weather.
Hotel rates in New York City fluctuate significantly with seasons and headline events. Peak rates occur in summer (June–August) and during the late-November to December holiday period when demand is highest for tourists and business travel. Major events — Fashion Week (Feb & Sep), the UN General Assembly (September), New Year’s Eve in Times Square (Dec), the NYC Marathon and Thanksgiving weekend (Nov) — can drive localized spikes and sellouts. Midtown and areas around Times Square, Rockefeller Center, and near major event venues typically see the steepest premiums. Value periods are generally mid-January through February after the holidays and parts of late winter/early spring (January–early March), when occupancy drops and hotels offer lower rates and deals. Booking windows matter: for high season and event periods, book 2–3 months ahead (or earlier for luxury hotels and holiday dates); for value season, you can often find good last-minute deals. Weekdays can be pricier in business-heavy neighborhoods (Midtown) while weekends may be more expensive in nightlife and leisure-focused neighborhoods (Meatpacking, Williamsburg).
内行人建议,帮助您充分利用您的访问
Use the subway and buses for the most efficient, cost-effective travel; supplement with taxis, rideshares, ferries, and bikes for specific routes.
Mix neighborhoods to get a fuller sense of the city—stay in one area to reduce hotel hopping, but spend days exploring Boroughs (Brooklyn, Queens, Bronx, Staten Island) for food and cultural diversity. Use contactless OMNY for seamless transit, book major shows and special restaurant reservations in advance, and plan mornings for popular attractions to avoid crowds.
