"We had a wonderful stay in the room — the location is peaceful with absolute quiet, perfect for restful nights. The Wi-Fi is strong and always available, and the water pressure is great. The highlight was the stunning view of the Pyramids directly from the room, and an even clearer view from the rooftop. The room was clean, and we enjoyed our stay immensely. We hope to visit again! 👍"
I liked about the facility because it is nearby the pyramids and you have a good view of the landscape, the rooms were neat and the staff gave us the chance to arrange the check-in and check-out. And they even gave us a good breakfast.

Summer
Hajj and Ramadan (dates move each year following the lunar calendar); expect maximum crowds and highest prices.
Periods well away from Hajj and Ramadan and midweek stays (often Winter or Fall months depending on the lunar calendar) offer lower prices and fewer crowds.
March–May: temperatures warm from mild to hot (daytime often 25–40°C depending on the year). This period may overlap with Ramadan or Hajj some years because Islamic dates shift; check the lunar calendar for the particular year of travel.
The annual major pilgrimage required of able Muslims; dates move each year with the Islamic lunar calendar and center on the month of Dhul-Hijjah. Hajj is the single largest driver of arrivals, crowding, and price spikes in Mecca.
Lunar month of daytime fasting culminating in Eid al-Fitr. Many pilgrims and visitors perform Umrah during Ramadan due to the heightened spiritual ambiance; nights are lively with extended prayers and communal iftars.
Umrah can be performed year-round but sees peaks during Ramadan, school holidays, and weekends. Religious tourism flows shape hotel occupancy throughout the year.
Carry a refillable water bottle and hydrate constantly. Wear light, breathable clothing and a sun hat; use sunscreen. Schedule outdoor walking early morning or after sunset in hot months. Choose hotels with reliable air conditioning. Be prepared for occasional rain in winter and cooler nights—bring a light jacket.
Hotel and travel prices in and around Al Haram (Mecca) are highly event-driven and seasonal. The single biggest price spikes occur during Hajj (annual pilgrimage month of Dhul-Hijjah) and Ramadan, when demand for rooms, transport, and guided services soars. Prices also rise on weekends and around Eid holidays and any dates when international flights feed large groups of pilgrims. Outside these peak pilgrimage periods, prices drop substantially—midweek stays and months far from Hajj/Ramadan yield the best value. Advance booking is essential for Hajj and strongly recommended for Ramadan; dynamic pricing and limited inventory near the Haram mean last-minute travelers often pay a premium for nearby rooms. Package operators bundle visa, transport and accommodation during peaks, which can reduce complexity but may cost more overall. Government quotas and permit systems (Hajj permits, Umrah booking apps) also shape availability and price behavior.
Insider advice to help you make the most of your visit
Main international gateway is King Abdulaziz International Airport (JED) in Jeddah; Haramain High-Speed Railway and licensed taxis/buses connect Jeddah to Mecca. In-city movement is typically on foot around the Haram, by shuttle, or by taxi/ride-hailing.
Book accommodation as close to the Haram as your budget allows if you plan frequent visits—this reduces transit time and exposure to heat/crowds. Use official apps (e.g., Eatmarna/related Umrah booking services when required), monitor the lunar calendar for Hajj/Ramadan dates, and coordinate with licensed tour operators for permits and logistics during peak pilgrimage times.
