It is immediately next to the train station which was ideal for getting around. It is so close to Buckingham palace and the museums I wanted to see. There is a lot within easy walking distance. I thoroughly enjoyed the hotel, the bed was exceptionally comfortable, the room suited my needs perfectly and was well decorated, the staff were very pleasant and happy to help with storing my luggage and offering assistance. The restaurant and hotel was beautiful and the hotel itself was very quiet. I would return without hesitation.

London hotel and travel prices fluctuate significantly with season, major events, and weekends. Summer (June–August) and holiday periods (late December–early January) are peak times when central hotels, short-stay apartments, and airfare are at their highest. Major events (Wimbledon, Notting Hill Carnival, state events) drive local spikes; book months ahead. Shoulder seasons—late spring (May–June) and early fall (September)—often offer the best balance of good weather and lower rates. Winter (January–February) can be the best value for accommodations, except around Christmas and New Year when prices spike again. Weekends and school holiday weeks typically raise rates; business travel increases midweek demand in financial districts. Consider location: West End and Westminster command premiums; Canary Wharf and zone 3–4 offer cheaper nightly rates with quick transit into the center.
