I loved everything about my stay there ... everything is beyond expectations ... specially the staff there, Dania and The Egyptian house keeping manager which I forgot his name, also Mina in the food floor ... they were amazing and so polite and nice ... they helped us and provided us with better rooms even than the one we reserved. 5 of 5 stars ... will go back to stay there once I go back to Aqaba. Thanks for the amazing stay!

Winter
Winter (cool, comfortable weather attracts international visitors).
Summer (hottest months—best rates and deals).
March–May: Temperatures warm from mild to hot (daytime averages ~20–30°C). Sea temperatures become very pleasant for swimming and diving, and the land vegetation shows early-season growth. Ideal for outdoor activities with long daylight and usually low rainfall.
Annual road race along the coastal strip that draws local and international runners—usually held in cooler months.
Seasonal series of cultural performances, craft markets, and food fairs held in Aqaba's public spaces and hotels. Dates vary year to year, often concentrated in autumn and winter.
Spring and fall migration bring large numbers of migratory birds passing through the Aqaba Gulf—excellent for birdwatching and nature tours.
Periodic dive festivals, underwater cleanups, and friendly competitions organized by local dive centers—typically scheduled in shoulder seasons for optimal conditions.
Aqaba is arid and sunny year-round. Pack lightweight breathable clothing, a hat, strong sunblock and sunglasses. Bring a light jacket for cooler winter evenings or boat trips. For diving/snorkeling, a 3–5 mm wetsuit is usually comfortable most of the year; in winter consider 5 mm. Stay hydrated and watch for heat exhaustion in summer. Check marine forecasts for winds that can affect boat departures.
Aqaba's hotel and travel prices fluctuate with weather-driven tourism and regional events. Peak demand is during the mild winter and shoulder seasons when visitors from colder climates arrive (roughly Nov–Mar), so expect higher rates and fewer last-minute deals. Summer (Jun–Aug) brings very high temperatures and lower overall demand, which typically yields the best hotel and dive-package bargains. International holidays, local festivals, and major diving events can push prices up for short windows. Book 6–12 weeks ahead for winter/holiday travel and look for last-minute or weekday deals in summer. Mid-range hotels dominate the market; luxury options exist but are limited, so compare rates across Aqaba and nearby resort towns.
Insider advice to help you make the most of your visit
Aqaba is served by King Hussein International Airport (AQJ), regular buses and private shuttles from Amman and Petra, taxis, and rental cars. It's also a common overland border-crossing point to/from neighboring countries.
Treat Aqaba as a base for a multi-destination trip—combine several days here with day trips or overnight stays in Wadi Rum and Petra. For divers: plan early-morning dives for calmer seas and better light, and pick a dive operator that practices reef-friendly behavior. Negotiate longer taxi hires for half- or full-day sightseeing to get better rates.
