Every single staff member was exceptional. Especially Jayla at the front desk when we checked in, She was awesome!!
We were really satisfied with this hotel. The proximity to the train (BART) was excellent and there were some nice little restaurants within walking distance. The free happy hour was nice (we were usually not there during the time it ran but we caught it one time and it was a nice bonus to the stay). The staff at the front desk were all great - pleasant, helpful, responsive. I don't know if they are understaffed with cleaning staff but our room wasn't ready when we arrived around 5pm (but they put us in another room that was the same so it was not an issue) - they had said they'd had a full house the night before so perhaps it was just a one off - but over three nights we didn't have anyone come to clean our room as part of the hotel service and when we did ask for some fresh towels they came in and folded up the towels that had already been used - so that was weird. The restaurant staff were nice. When we arrive the shower/tub was not draining and the toilet wouldn't flush - but once we mentioned it to the front desk they had someone come up almost immediately and he fixed both very quickly). Breakfast was awesome...the 'made to order' counter was a great feature and the staff working there were friendly, funny and awesome!
